Welcome to week 4 of 4 for the challenge. In review of last week’s food logs it seems that some are starting to fall back into the rut of marginal choices concerning their food. A reminder, for some 30 days will not be enough. If you are metabolically deranged after years of poor eating habits it may take 60 days or longer. So if you’re feeling better know that it could be much better. The idea of the challenge is to develop life long strategies for improved eating habits not just a 30 day stint.
May 21st is the cutoff for food logs. Since Memorial Day weekend starts on the 24th, we will take pictures beginning on the 20th. Voting will be the 28th through the 31st with the winners announced at the barbecue on June 2nd.
As many of you have noticed there have been some changes in coaching methodology. These changes will be used in all programs at CFCV in an effort to improve safety and performance. As I eluded to earlier some folks will not be amused when directed to reduce weight during certain movements. This is done in an effort to make long term improvements so please don’t take it the wrong way. I am confident that we will all be better in the long run. It’s hard to understand sometimes but the coaches and programs at CFCV are constantly evolving and that is a good thing!
