Thank You, Thank You and Congrats

For voting me as the number 2 personal trainer in the valley in the Record Courier's best in the valley contest. I'm unsure how many votes were casted in the category but one thing's for sure, without our members there wouldn't be anyone to vote for. Penny also is a big part of this as she takes care of all the behind the scenes work as well as supporting the whole idea. So it really is your victory, not mine.

I also want to say thanks for another successful year. October 1st is when our annual CrossFit affiliate fees are due and yes I did pay them again. So we will move forward but may change locations. I am getting tired of being hassled with by the Dick I mean Jack next door. We are due to sign our annual lease again in November so I will be looking in the same neighborhood for another building. Pickins are slim but I'll at least look.

Tough Mudder is coming up this weekend as I mentioned last week. On the 10th we will have a booth at the education foundation's 5k/10k run at the high school. We have donated a free on-ramp certificate for the foundation's auction. Accordingly the next on-ramp will start on 10/11 at 6:30 pm.

I am planning a repeat challenge for the first of November. Let me know if there's interest, I know I could use the help especially getting through the holidays without packing on the weight.

The schedule for the month of October is up. Towards the end of the month there may be some switching around of trainers as my parents are planning on coming to town. I'll keep you posted.

For those that are curious, I posted a 6:10 with 205#. With my healing on the way, I am returning to our programming for awhile with some Oly mixed in.

Congratulations to Mike Day for finishing 5th in his class at the Battle of the Paddle race at Doheny this weekend. Also congrats to the Brackett kids for doing well in their races.

    Woot Woot !!! I agree with Carrie, YOU are the BEST TRAINER EVER!!! Also I am TOTALLY down with another challenge. Lets make it interesting for those potential winners shall we?? Even though that’s not what it is about, it (whatever “it” is) adds to the fun!

    Congrats, Ron! Your effort and expertise shines through.
    If you could use a massage gift cert. for a challenge incentive, I’d be happy to donate one. Just let me know…. I’m proud to say I’ve been on the Whole 9 bandwagon since the workshop in June. I started a planned weekly cheat day about a month ago, but my cheats are pretty tame. I find that after one modest cheat day I am so happy to resume my “strict” lifestyle the next day ’cause I feel so much better on clean burning fuel. It really has been over 100 days without chocolate– I’ve conquered the beast!!
