The week was good, lots of strength work and some fun workouts. This weekend Mark is in Colorado obtaining his level I cert. Unfortunately he will be putting his efforts into his own garage gym in Carson. We also have several members that are on the East Fork Fire Silver Legacy stair climb competition. I know they will do well.
I plan on writing a piece for the Record Courier about the Fittest of the Sierra competition. Hope to have it done tomorrow night for submission on Monday.
Don't forget, Friends and Family Free Workout next Sunday (May 2nd), followed by yet another on-ramp starting on the 3rd. Don't have anyone signed up for the on-ramp yet.
Now would be a good time to sign up for the Whole9 workshop on June 9th or 10th. Some may be wondering why $75.00 when the ones before and after ours are listed at $60.00. The workshop costs CFCV $75.00 for each person so it's not like we have inflated the price. Had a lot of inquiries at the Fittest of the Sierra but those have not panned out. I will see if the paper will put something in there and will post some flyers around town.
Took these pics Thursday and it's amazing what kids will imitate:
I sure miss the kid's program.
I understand the 2010 CrossFit games will not be held in Aromas. It's rumored they will be in SoCal but the location has not been announced. Good thing we didn't make reservations or arrangements.
