Mourning a Friend

As some of you knew a friend of Ethan's (my grandson) crashed in an Mx race last weekend and was in critical condition. He passed away yesterday so today was kind of sucky in our world. Jesse was a great kid, polite, respectful, a great rider with a future in the pro's and from an absolutely fantastic family. We will miss him, Godspeed Jesse

Good effort on everyone's part with all the squatting. I know it can be challenging but squatting is the basis of so many of our movements and to be exposed a lot will make us more successful and stronger.

We are coming up on the last 3 weeks of the challenge. I am seeing some remarkable changes in people, it's amazing. For those of you participating remember there is a requirement that you post or otherwise have your food logs analyzed. Most are up to date but some are far behind. This will be one of the criteria used to pick the winner so let's get them posted.

Andrew signed up for the Whole9 workshop via the blog and PayPal. I appreciate that as I wasn't totally confident it would work, so thanks Andrew. I have added a sentence asking folks to send an e-mail stating which workshop they would like to attend in addition to making the payment. Again, locals can just pay by check or whatever without going through PayPal.

Ron- I’m so sorry for your loss. What a tragedy.
On a brighter note, I am very excited about the Whole 9 workshop and will have my check to you soon! Also, I am one of those behind on my food log, and while I can’t get you all the past missing info., I will be diligent about recording my food from here on out. To be completely honest, I’ve had a bit of a stressful time lately and fell off the wagon a bit. I know I’m not the only one who has difficulties in his/her life and I have to say how proud I am of all of us who are sticking with this program, or at least dusting themselves off and getting back on that Paleo horse when we’ve fallen (wow, that was a goofy metaphor!). Stick with it folks– you really are worth it!! See all you 9’ers in the a.m.
