Kettlebells were the order of the day. Shalene, Carrie and I started it off with AOS’ Firepower first thing this morning. The workout is complex to learn and I am sure that the next effort will go a little smoother and offer more of a challenge.
The four o’clock crew of Janeen, Jared, Chris and Lisa were next up. As I have been remiss at enforcing the basics of kettlebell skills, we worked on them at length and then gave AOS’ Elevation II a go. We did 2 sets of each round and to make Chris’ trip from the lake worth while, he gave a brilliant effort on Fran. He threw down a 6:34 with strict pullups and 55 lb thrusters.
Then it was Claudia, Caleb and Seth for a repeat of kettlebell basics and Elevation. They upped the sets to 3 and put in a great effort. I believe Claudia’s posterior chain has coming around…..as she finally went a$$ to ankles without leaning forward. Good job Claudia.
