Today Rob and I met at Globogym as Rob wanted to go heavy. So we did CrossFit Total which is a strength benchmark workout consisting of back squats, shoulder press and deadlift. The moves are done in that order working up to the individual’s 1 rep max (1rm). The 1rm’s are then added together to give the CrossFit total score. The results were:
As you can see, Rob is a lot stronger than me but I might just be old enough to be his daddy.
The total not only represents a benchmark for us but by viewing CrossFit’s main page @ crossfit.com and scrolling down to where the Total was the WOD (Nov 28th), one could compare our results to other’s on that day by clicking on the blue comments link. This is where the majority of the CrossFit community post their daily workout results so people can observe results and progress. It is also a vehicle for people to comment on any number of things about politics, workout pics and videos on the main page etc.
