There was a visitor this morning. Shalene’s sister in law-what’s her name- was here for an indoctrination to CrossFit. She lives in Washington and will most likely visit Rainier CrossFit on her return. She owns a kickboxing studio back home and has been CrossFit curious. After learning the warm up, she, Shalene and I messed around with the level I workout from yesterday.
Then it was Peggy’s turn. Today for the first time, Peggy rowed 1000meters straight thru. This was quite a feat and then she followed with th rest of her customized workout.
The 1:00 ers, Mike R., April, Sarah and Tiffany were up next and did 15, 12 and 9 deadlifts followed by Tabata squats. Tabata squats are 8 rounds of 20 seconds work, 10 seconds rest of air squats. The score is determined by the least amount in any one round.
At 5:00, Claudia, Caleb Seth and I did the workout of last Friday and Saturday while I was on duty. Check it out.
