Another Rest Day? NOT!

Thought I should go to Globogym today to witness first hand their increase in business due to the resolutionists. Parking lot was full and had to park in another facility’s space. In thinking about a good workout that may cause some grunting, groaning and sweating, I picked Tabata Something Else. This workout is one of the metcons from hell and consists of:

"Complete 32 intervals of 20 seconds of work followed by ten seconds of rest where the first 8 intervals are pull-ups, the second 8 are push-ups, the third 8 intervals are sit-ups, and finally, the last 8 intervals are squats. There is no rest between exercises" (pasted from CrossFit.com website).

As if the workout wasn’t enough, tonight was also the first night back to Tae Kwon Do since December 21st. Also readied the Northwest Martial Arts studio for tomorrow’s first UBC Extreme class. Should be fun.

Caleb also came by CFCV for his second workout. He completed the CF warm up which is about par for a guy that hasn’t hit the gym in 6 years or so.
