Thanks Ladies!!!! Nicole and Rachael donated a 16lb Dynamax medicine ball to CFCV to replace the p.o.s 15lb imposter from Everlast that failed. I hope ya'll appreciate it as much as I do.
We survived another AAW with Kettlebell steps, tactical lunges and sprints on Saturday. Some may wonder why it is that we seem to work the AAW's on Saturday, but it is a diverse crew with an uncertain level of participation. Besides that, what a great day for all of us to play.
We had lots of noobs last week so look for new faces this week. Welcome Paula to the new 5:30 and as a reminder the rest of the "new" time schedule starts tomorrow.
The 16th and 17th, 3 gals from CFCV will be attending the CF Level I cert in Reno. Nicole, Carrie and Lola will be working their asses off and I wish I was a fly on the wall. I am certain they will represent well.
Thanks to Buffy, we are planning the first annual CFCV golf tournament at Genoa Lakes on 10/21 at 11:00 or 10:00. We will announce the firm start time as soon as we nail it down. We realize its the middle of the week and workouts may need to be forgone, as well as time away fro busy schedules but what a way to spend some quality time together, away from the gym. I golf like I jump rope, so don't let that stop you, the idea is to spend some time together at something we either excel at or suck at, doesn't matter. We need to know how many will participate and will be putting together a sign up sheet in the morning. Cost will be minimal and anything above actual cost will go towards purchasing equip. for CFCV. If anyone has any ideas on hole games etc., feel free to head this thing up with Buffy as I know squat about organizing golf events.
