It has truly been a challenging and rewarding year for CFCV. I want to thank all members present and past who have made us a success. I also want to thank members who have donated stuff throughout the year, most recently Carrie's Christmas present to CFCV of a 14lb medicine ball. These equipment donations really help to make us a better gym.

Over the past couple of days we have had some fun workouts. Wednesday everyone who showed did Grace which is 30 clean and jerks for time. As we have been working on barbell snatches, cleans and jerks for the past 2 months, I required everyone (except Cary) to do real cleans and jerks read: squat cleans and split jerks. There have been numerous Grace's performed as ground to overhead anyway and that is fine, but I wanted us to perform the real deal this time out. And there were varying levels of compliance and skill demonstrated. I took video of the performances and will edit the video into a movie in the near future and post it.

Then it was yhe 12 days of Christmas workout at 6am Christmas eve for Kara, Nicole and Kelly, great job ladies.
At the FD on Christmas eve it was Grace for the unsuspecting station 14 crew plus Chad. There were some good times thrown down but I didn't record them.
Then today the 14 crew, Chad and I snuck off to CFCV for our PT. The 12 days of Christmas was laying in wait and Denny came in on his annual day off. It was fun-fun enough to repeat for all you folks that come to workout at 9am tomorrow.
I am threatening to complete the January schedule again this weekend and I will do my best to make it happen.
We will start another On-Ramp Program on January 4th at 6:30 PM. we will also have another Friends and Family free workout on the second (next Saturday). We already have a few foks on the waiting list so let people know to get on the list before it fills up.
