Tough WOD today. Everyone gave it their all!!! I saw a lot of people digging deep to get fast times and also saw lots of people pushing to lift more or throw more through this WOD (and still put up fast times). Some (Mark) even added two rounds to the WOD to mimic the main site WOD. I heard 'Mr. Pukie' was in the house… It was fun to watch you guys today, I was impressed!!
Pushing your personal limits past your comfort zone develops compassion and will teach you the most about your self. Your body will follow your mind, this means physical results will follow. Meaningful achievement takes time, dedication, perseverance, patience, and self awareness. So what is my point? I guess I'm saying keep pushing yourself past your comfort zone on every single WOD be it the strength portion or the met-con portion every day. Keep track of how much you lift each day and write in your journal. Celebrate your accomplishments in life and in the gym. Push past your comfort zone, go fast, lift heavy, execute the motion properly, and most of all HAVE FUN.
Happy CrossFitting my friends,
